Truman Virtual Tour: Pickler Memorial Library

Welcome to the Library! This is Pickler Memorial Library where you
can find students day or night. My name is Mae and I am a Truman student from
Shawnee, Kansas and I am studying math, statistics, and Spanish. The library is usually open from 7:30 a.m.
to 1:00 a.m. on weekdays during the school year and until 2:00 a.m. during finals. The library is a great place to get some focused
study time in. The individual study carrels that line the
walls are great for when you need to get away from other distractions. There are also a lot of options for when you
want to meet up and study with other people! From the big work tables with computers and comfy chairs downstairs to the private study rooms on the second floor, there is plenty of space to get a group project together or just study with a few friends. The Library’s resources are also super helpful. From the thousands of books on site to the inter-library loan program and the in-person reference desk to the online chat, it is easy
to find whatever you need here. And more than just books, the library rents
out movies and art prints. Also, the IT help desk is conveniently located
here. Don’t forget about Starbucks for when you
need a caffeine jolt and the wellness zone when you need to refocus. Located right in the center of campus, the
library is the study hub for students and a great place to further your academic pursuits at
Truman.
