We’ve got all your favourite TV shows on DVD too. Comedy classics, family favourites and natural history. You need never be stuck for something to watch again. With loads of great stuff, like free PC access, Wi-Fi and comfy chairs, our libraries are great places to come and hang out for a few hours. Along with our books, you’ve also got newspapers and magazines, music and audio books, language courses and much much more. It gives you a better insight into what you’ve just read, and it’s brilliant. The staff are lovely. Very helpful. Very patient. They don’t make me feel stupid, even though I’m being stupid. Whether it’s term-time or the school holidays, there’s always something fun going on at Westminster’s libraries. Sitting down and reading isn’t for everybody, particularly when they’re young. They want to be involved physically with it, and involving them physically is another way of accessing stories. As a parent when you’ve got one, two, three children, it’s great to be able to let them loose and not have to panic about the noise and the mess. The kids area is your space and we want you to enjoy it! So that means we dont mind about a bit of noise and we’re always up for trying out new things. So if you think we should set up a comics club, or a High School Musical group, tell us! You can choose any book you ever want, and it’s just a really great place to come. If you’re 11 to 19 and you’ve got one of these, you’re entitled to 20% off the hire charges of all computer games, music and films. We haven’t forgotten about you grown-ups either. Westminster’s libraries are a great place for the whole community. There are all sorts of opportunities for you to learn new skills, brush up on your CV, or make new friends in a warm and welcoming environment. This class is very good and …I improve my English. There are eleven lending libraries across Westminster. Joining any one gives you access to all of them. The Archive Centre, the Westminster Reference Library and the Marylebone information service are great resources for anyone looking for information on a wide range of subjects.
