  2. Allen M. Quinn says:

I don't find her to be betraying Jackie and the family at all. She's very respectful of her time with them and she's not saying anything that is super private.

  3. Kathleen Papaleo says:

It's a great book. Fascinating stories of Ireland. I think Caroline would approve.

Another servant writes a book. Betrayal. Mrs. Kennedy-Onassis was incredibly nice to this woman. It is a violation of the family's privacy.

With this family, conspiracy seems to be truth. The conspiracy surrounding John Junior's death is that he wanted it known that George Bush, Sr. had been responsible for killing his father, maybe even being the actual gun man. The conspiracy also states that his magazine called George was to put the truth out there for everyone to see!!! It's rumored that his death was no accident, it was feared that John Junior would go on to be president of the United States!!!

  16. Harley Man says:

And to the thought of Hillary Clinton was in on the JFK Jrs murder to get him out of the way for her run of SOS and to someday be president……God I loathe that womans name to even be mentioned let alone look at her RFFUGLY face

Jesus say her name correctly. It’s MAC- KEY-OWN

  25. Xcuze says:

She waited a respectful time and the book doesnt seem to be sensational or salacious. Its very important we have these accounts on record while these people are still alive to tell their story. It gives greater insight into these iconic figures. Makes them REAL. Not just an image. A long term assistant see's and hears things that even family may not be privvy to. They become both close friends and a business arm. maybe even a confidante.

  49. idon'thaveachannel says:

This nonfiction book gives you a look at two different strata of society. Those of us in the middle class get a special peek at some goings-on in the lives of some members of the wealthy upper class. We see how life sometimes flowed for live-in servants who received paychecks for living alongside an elite family. We witness maids and other workers assisting wealthy families adults and their offspring on a daily basis for a paycheck. The setting is the 1960's and the author of this book is a former servant, an Irish immigrant, who was employed by the Kennedy family.

  50. Matt's Horsemanship says:

JFK was the 1st president that woman was able to vote and of course it made a difference. They voted for what they considered to be "good looking" I think it was a mistake. Up until jfk, men voted on who they wanted to be president based on smarts and class and who they felt would be a great president. Want to know why we now have a celebrity president "which I like by the way" its because we allowed emotions to vote at the booth and not what's good for America. We finally got it right with Trump but up until him most woman voted based on emotion and that's why we got lame presidents like jfk with many scandals and Bill Clinton, a smooth sales man type of sicko president. JFK is loved right now but when he became president MANY didn't like him. AND if you look at his presidency on paper, it was nothing impressive at all. He was kind of lame. The lowest amounts of actual policy was passed under jfk. nothing really got done and we got close to all out nuclear war because he was weak. People who worked close to JFK said "he slept most of the days away because of his back pain" Right now we got a president "Trump" who works day and night none stop.

  51. Matt's Horsemanship says:

Jackie was way to good for JFK. He cheated on her like crazy and lets not forget about the woman who drowned because Kennedy didn't want people finding out he was cheating on his woman.

  52. Larry 306 says:

Jackie suffered with PTSD for her whole life after the shooting.. Need to read "Once upon a secret" .. by Mimi Alford.. About her affair with JFK when she was 18 and he was 43.. JFK is not the wonderful person people think he was..

  53. D DOLLAR says:

I can not fathom those two children dealing with the loss of their father and then their beloved Uncle Bobby.
My heart goes out to Caroline and the family.

  54. Deborah Hoffman says:

Hard to imagine what those children went through back then with all the assassinations. I remember myself as I was a child too.

  55. Donna Woodford says:

I believe Kathy went out on her own, without Caroline's blessing, to tell the story of Jackie as it related to her. If she hadn't signed a confidentiality clause in any work contract, she would be clear from any legal breach. Privacy was always a major issue for the Kennedys. Anyone who worked for John Jr. had to sign an agreement never to disclose anything about him or his magazine. Caroline, I believe was also touchy about personal privacy rights, so she might not like this book nor the interview about her mother.

  56. Gary M says:

I can see the correlation between Jacquelyn Kennedy oasis and Michelle Obama

  57. Carmen Valenzuela says:

You had me all the way up to your living in Queens. Hey…not judging…but you were her personal assistant..and you lived in Queens? You AND Archie Bunker? Ok then…

  64. Silus Ray says:

Our own government killed our President

  65. Loki Schudlt says:

Waaaaaay too many blacks on that show now. No wonder nobody watches that anymore.

  66. Chris Lawrence says:

Jackie was a con Gold Digger. She betrayed John by doing RFK for 4 years. The whole Kennedy Clan was shameful.

  67. frettchen gretchen says:

This made me bawL my eyes out…they were all robbed….We were robbed…JBK would not object to this…she is a part of this history…a lot of which many of us hold sooo dearly…any and all of it is treasured immensely..♡

  68. CAP RICOSM says:

    34 !!!

  69. Judy Evancic says:

She had her moments in private. She wasn’t anymore a saint than most woman who married to a philandering husband. She knew how to protect herself and when to be available to him. JFK was what he was just like his father was to his mother. But all Kennedy woman put up with behavior by ignoring it as much as possible. So the legacy she tried very hard to create, after his death, was accepted by the public for awhile. But when she left the country, many understood after Bobby Kennedy’s death, she was very concerned about her children. Kennedy’s were not Royalty, Joe Kennedy was a bootlegger during prohibition and liked to the then underworld. Many Massachusetts residents knew this and laughed about it in private. Jackie Kennedy was used to bring class to Jacks life. So let’s be truthful about this family….

  70. El Hombre de oro says:

    Washington Memorial, sharing a jacket, 2049, Mistral Wind . . .

  76. movingonandup773 says:

I was happy to see that apparently (from this clip only) this woman didn't write a salacious and rumor-filled novel with a bunch of nonsense and scandal to sell more books but wrote about the beautiful relationship and connection she had to Jackie Kennedy and her family. That is refreshing. I wonder if it would have been written differently if she was an American. Lol!

  77. Richard Pruett says:

LBJ plotted JFK's murder. And RFK's. And MLK's.

  78. June Morga says:

You all are so blind and deaf…her whole point was to say the Kennedy family was murdered. Congress seriously needs to investigate it all.

  79. Lorna Marie says:

Why would you save those types of notes? And the woman doesn’t even have a name. Still it is important to record all of these historic things. Even though it’s difficult to face check some conversations when the other person has died.

  80. Mel Kat says:

Robert Kennedy Jr is my favorite living Kennedy. He’s doing so so much for the American people fighting for their medical freedom ❤️

How many packs of cigarettes did Jackie O smoke a day?

  82. mark rottjakob says:

The Kennedys made their money in booze during American prohibition

  83. devaschloe says:

I have “Jackie’s Girl” in my collection and I was very surprised. Most authors only care about sales by selling garbage but you can tell with Kathleen’s stories she’s still very protective of Jackie Kennedy and I can see why Jackie trusted her so much. Jacqueline was VERY Nice and generous and even left Provi (her Dominican nanny) funds from her will. Jackie is a class act and I’m glad Kathleen’s book was tasteful. I highly recommend this. I’ve read it several times and I love it!

  84. Therapist Gus says:

she declined to comment because she didn't manage the estate Dolores Steve's did…this woman is an impostor. She may have been there 5-7 years but that's it.

  88. Ronnie Bishop says:

That news Lady is doing the debates and she has no upper lip. It’s weird. Of course it’s just so obvious that the same people killed both Kennedy’s and many others and ruined old Nixon in a set up fake breakin. The CIA getting caught breaking in to an office??? Hahaha sure they did.

  89. Candace Shirley says:

That would've been an amazing job

  90. Kim Bradley says:

She was the most beautiful woman

  91. Jonathan Izaac says:

Thought she was gonna mention the affairs and Jackie's distress over it…. guess not

  92. John3:16 Pitbull says:

I read this book and I recommend it. It's not a "tell all", if you're looking for her to reveal some juicy secrets then you'll be disappointed. I read it because I read everything about Jackie, but I ending up liking this book because of the author's own personal story. The tragic story she tells about her wee sister back in Ireland and the frilly dress is gut wrenching and absolutely heartbreaking. The book is a fast read and worth the reader's time!

  93. Eric Gill says:

This family was not so special in America if you ask me what the government done to them

How is she Mrs. Kennedy if she married Onasss.

I really started to cry when she talked about how Caroline asked the questions about her father after the assassination, a very sensitive age to lose a dad

  96. Elvia Giron says:

    vebdiciones abuela

  97. Anne-Maree Williams says:

I read a book about Jackie by her secretary (I think it was) which reveled a completely different side of Jackie altogether from this one!

  98. Bertha Varas says:

Jacky used her Intellectual Levels and Her sweet French Accent that was very well KNOWN by her; That in USA will be ALWAYS WELL APPEALING AND LIKED….and all of that…? Was very well and strategically aiming Her Desire for HER ALWAYS WELL HIDDEN DESIRE OF WEALTH & FAME…..which she finally GOT IT ALL WITH HER Early Long time VERY WELL studied & perseverance Strategy and patience that WILL End Up with Her very well EARN WEALTH & FAMOUSLY REPUTATION….that AFTER ALL it WAS HER MOST DESIRABLE DREAMS THAT "SHE MAKE THEM ALL HAPPENED "!!
