Bible Study on Finding Balance | Study the Bible with Me

Bible Study on Finding Balance | Study the Bible with Me we start more than ever we not only as a
country but it’s just the world uniting and coming together because we’re going
through this crazy time of the the world pandemic and what’s really important at
this time not only just being kind to one another
so if there’s you know one bottle of milk left on the shelf and you already
have two of them at home leave it for somebody else so now they’re just kind
of thinking about others during this time but also finding a balance in your
own personal life I know a lot of people use school and work as an escape and
kind of a way to get away from the norm some people are without jobs right now
and it’s really important to maintain just equilibrium now there’s a scripture
in the book of Ecclesiastes that I really like and I’ve done a video on it
before it’s I’ll link it in the cars and I’ll I’ll put a link to it in the
description box as well but it was on seasons and it’s in Ecclesiastes chapter
3 verses 1 through 13 I won’t write it out but I will read it
verse 1 to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the
heaven a time to be born in a time to die a time to plant and a time to pluck
up that which is planted a time to kill and a time to heal a time to break down
and a time to build up a time to weep and a time to laugh a time to mourn and
a time to dance a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones
together a time to embrace and attempt to refrain from embracing a time to get
and a time to lose a time to keep and attempt to cast away a time to Rend and
a time to sow a time to keep silence and a time to speak attend to love and
attempt to hate a time of war and a time of peace
what do workers gain from their toil I have seen the burden God has laid on the
human race he has made everything beautiful and its
he is also set eternity in the human heart yet no one can fathom what God has
done from the beginning to end I know there is nothing better for people than
to be happy and to do good while they live that each of them may eat and drink
and find satisfaction in their toil this is the gift of God so one thing that
this verse kind of speaks to my heart is that we as humans go through different
ups and downs throughout life so all of us nobody is immune to this everybody
has good times and bad times doesn’t matter how much money you have or you
know how great your family is or if you have no family at all
every single person goes through ups and downs in life and there’s a time for
everything the Bible says a season for every activity under the heavens I think
one thing that life has taught me is that God loves us so much that he
doesn’t always swoop in and get us out of comfortable situations immediately
and you might think that that doesn’t make sense well if God loves me then why
would he keep me in an uncomfortable uncomfortable situation and that is so
that we can learn to trust him and grow it’s easy to Truscott everything is
going well and when you feel like life just just lightning out but what about
when it’s not and I think those those are the places where we should lean into
God more I’ll tell you one thing I have witnessed more corporate prayer during
this time where we’re in this pandemic then I ever have before but one thing
that I found difficult for myself to do during this time is to try to get myself
into a routine and trying to keep myself down so it might look different for you but
that’s something that you can journal to yourself what are what are the most
important things to you in your everyday life that makes you you that makes you
feel like you have a good grip on the day and that you know you’re feeling
like everything is just in balance so you can write the word balance and then
journal out for you what that means so for me that means eating well I like to
eat well and I like to exercise even if it’s just walking pray and do my Bible
study of course social I know we can’t really see each other but video calling
it’s very accessible to us in this day in age thankfully and a sense of
normalcy I guess just having a schedule for me
alright thrive on a schedule and so if that’s something that you thrive on make
a schedule for yourself or you know what your life looks like at during this
stage I think collectively we’re just going through a time of trials but that doesn’t mean that you can’t
try your very best to have some sense of normalcy in your life to try to balance
your life in a way that where you can get through the day and that’s one big
thing that I have been telling myself I would think about when is this gonna end
when is this gonna be over and I need to remind myself that we should take every
day one day at a time Matthew 6:34 therefore do not worry
about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself each day has enough trouble
of its own and what I really like about this verse it says if God is doing us
don’t worry about tomorrow because you know why we can’t handle that we can
only worry about what’s on our plate for today and that’s what I really try to
focus on this structure during this time and one of my favorite scriptures is
actually the one before this it’s Matthew 6:33 seek first the kingdom of
God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you
and then this is what follows therefore do not worry about tomorrow
so put God first that’s another thing that I’ve that helps me not only through
this time but just hard times in general is studying the Bible it gives me so
much peace and comfort I’ll tell you one thing that this
dependent I kept taught me and that is that I need to be more grateful I
thought was a pretty grateful person and you know I think I am but I was thinking
about it and I was regretting all the times that I was stuck in traffic on my
way to work or all the times that I had to run up to the grocery store because I
ran out of milk I didn’t even think about the fact that well first of all I
am so grateful that I can just go to the store and pick up milk but also that
even if I wanted to go to the store and get bags for example there’s no mayor
it’s all gone and I think I I don’t think I know I took it for granted so
when everything goes back to normal because I know it will I’m so hopeful I
know it will go back to normal and I just run out to the store to pick up
some eggs I’m not going to take that for credit as silly as it sounds I’m gonna
say thank you God thank you Lord for this opportunity and I think it’s the
little things in life that God wants us to kind of think about and we should be
more grateful for I love this verse Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 11 he has
made everything beautiful and it’s time another thing is I try to think about
the little things in my everyday life that I look forward to so for example I
look forward to my coffee in the morning and then maybe for lunch I’ll make
myself a smoothie you know reports that I look forward to taking a walk at the
end of the day the little things that get us through the day that we can look
forward to that has helped me a lot I have my little nighttime study routine
if you want to see that I can make a video about it but even my little
nighttime Bible study routine I look forward to that so try to have little
things in your life be intentional about it that you can enjoy and get you
through the day and so that’s all I have for today as always I am praying for you
and I always talk to you next time right
