Amazon Kindle 4 Review Wi-Fi emitted radiation level

This is a short video about Amazon Kindle 4. I got it several days ago. Its very very nice device. The most important thing for me is that it has option of disabling Wi-Fi. Here I have my gadget that can measure radiation
that comes from such radiation emitting devices. And kindle is one of them if you turn this option ON. So, let’s do it and see how much radiation it gives. I already registered my kindle, when I turn wireless ON it does synchronisation or some other process.. And after that it stops using wireless connection. Now lets do something like going into menu, we will choose…oh, even without any important operations it had some strange pulse. OK. Probably after entering each menue it has this strange pulse? Lets go back and to the end of this menue just to see if we are right.. Oh, nothing happened 🙂 OK As I said before this device is already registered. What we can do is to view all the Wi-Fi networks that we have here. Here we have option of rescan of list and we wil ldo it several times
just to see how kindle tries to find networks around me. This operation usually requires a lot of radiation to be emmited. But what we see here that
despite of very short distance between my antenna and kindle the level does not go too high. like on most smartphones. So, radiation level is really low. I can rate it as low one. Lets do several rescans. One rescan… Two rescan. Let’s change position of the kindle… Three rescan.. very low.. Now let’s do some browsing. We go main Menue ->Experimental.. Here we have browser.. WE find bookmarks here.. And we go to see something big, for example page. Oh.. this is realy low level of Wi-Fi signal here! Very nice! OK. Usually all devices like smartphones (Samgung Galaxy, iPhone4 and other) emit level of Wi-Fi that exceeds 2000 here on this scale. And units that we have here are micro watts per square meter (uW/m2). That is pretty low. But for me who don’t like microwave radiation, Even level of 10 is not that good. And now we see that when we even look on static page, without clicking anything, kindle still connects maybe to download some advertisments.. Anyway, I suppose you not to use wireless option in kindle. Just turn it off. Only when you really need to connect via wireless connection of kindle turn it ON, use it and turn it OFF. OK, I hope this video is not too bad.
Sorry for my bad English. I tried to do my best.

Well done! To the point and very valuable information.
Interested in "your antenna", and the equipment used.
    Ever measure an Apple Airport?
Just for note: I love my airport. I had it near me for a few weeks. At about belt level. One morning I noticed my left kidney hurting. Normally have no health issues of any kind. It occurred that this might be what was causing my ache so I moved it as far away as possible. A week later my kidney is no longer hurting. There are no coincidences.

    Well, thank you for comment.
No, I don't even know what is Apple Airport ) going to read about it now.

It took me very long time to understand what is the source of my problems. One time I even thought that I am going crazy. Without cold mind thinking (I am glad I can do it) it was not possible to find answers.

You can do nice experiment by starting using your Apple Airport again. Then see if problem will appear again.
I did such kind of experiments several times)))

Just read about it. Even without measuring I can tell you it emits enough to make anyone sick (with time, depending on person's curren health condition, sure).
In general – if you want to feel better, then cancel ALL wireless application (especially in your home).

Read report on this site: bioinitiative org.
This site contains enough info to make all wireless devices to be out of law (no hysteria, only facts).

Measurement device is HD32 from gigahertz solutions.

  5. Ramza says:

This measurement seems to show that the kindle device emits radiation when it's just being used even before connecting to wifi. Of course it was quite low.

  6. Ned says:

Does it give radiation when the wireless is off but you turn pages?

that looked like RF radiation, what about LF

Thank you, I'm electro sensitive, that was very helpful
